GROVE CITY — The Rumble in the Jungle turned into a Mumble in the Jungle on Tuesday in a nearly full gym at Atwater-Cosmos-Grove City High School.

ACGC ripped a depleted Foley line-up 44-21.

Foley, it was reliably reported by the scorer’s table, was minus seven starters — five ill, two injured.

ACGC, ranked No. 2 in A, improved to 11-0 in duals and 14-0 overall, counting three invitational victories.

Foley, No. 3 in AA, fell to 9-3 with consecutive losses to AAA Hastings and now ACGC. Their other loss was to powerhouse Frazee.

Falls for the home team were scored by Robert Rasmussen, Cameron Whitcomb, Logan Peterson, Larry Bomstad, Lee Whitcomb, and Lucas Damm.
