NEW LONDON—New London-Spicer's Olivia Christopherson carried a one-hitter into the seventh but that was when Litchfield strung four hits together including a two-run double by Neriah Lara to win 3-1 on Monday afternoon.

The Wildcats led early with a RBI single from Courtney Hanson in the first inning and Christopherson worked some magic with 15 strikeouts. But the seventh inning proved to be problematic as a trio of seeing-eye singles set the stage for Lara's triple.

Madison Larson drove in Litchfield's first run to tie the game and she was strong from the rubber as well with only four hits allowed. She didn't allow any walks and struck out three.
