Local Roundup: NLS tennis team edges Benson

NEW LONDON - New London-Spicer and Benson engaged in an early-season battle as five matches featured tie breaks before the Wildcats eventually emerged victorious 4-3 on Tuesday.

While Sophia Curriel of Benson came away with a tie-break win at No. 1 singles, NLS' Izzy Schmiesing and Shea Oman came away with a comfortable win at No. 1 double for the Wildcats.
