Local Roundup: Card swim team third at Bemidji Invite

BEMIDJI - The Willmar swimming and diving team placed third place at the Bemidji Invite Saturday.

The Cardinals' 354.5 points trailed only first-place Melrose and the second-place hosts.

Diving was once again the strong suit for the Cardinals as they took three of the top five positions on the podium. Erica Schramm won the event with a 387.95 and Olivia Welsh and Maddie Stoeberl took fourth and fifth.
