Local Roundup: KMS volleyball fifth at Underwood tourney

UNDERWOOD — The KMS volleyball team won two of four matches, including a two-set win over Sebeka in the fifth-place match at the Underwood Invitational on Thursday.

The Saints also defeated Verndale but suffered losses to Underwood and Clinton-Graceville-Beardsley.

KMS' Haylee Johnson had 23 kills and Lauren Krieger had 20 kills.

Alex Walsh had 16 kills and two blocks, Lydia Wagner had 15 kills, and Mallory Rudningen had 70 set assists.
