Wolves beat Mavericks, fall to Thunder

OKLAHOMA CITY — Kevin Durant had 32 points, 12 assists and 10 rebounds for his fourth career triple-double as host Oklahoma City upended Minnesota 113-103 Sunday for its seventh consecutive victory.

Russell Westbrook scored 19 points, Reggie Jackson added 18 and Serge Ibaka had 15 for the Thunder, who shot 56.3 percent from the field while improving to 9-0 at home.

Kevin Martin scored 24 points and Nikola Pekovic added 22 points and 10 rebounds for the Timberwolves, who have lost four of five games. Kevin Love had 16 points and 12 rebounds for Minnesota, which led by five entering the final quarter.

The Thunder made four 3-pointers in the first four-plus minutes of the final quarter to turn a five-point deficit into a 94-88 advantage. Jackson hit back-to-back shots to end a 25-7 run and give Oklahoma City a 103-90 lead with 3:47 remaining.

Saturday’s Game

Timberwolves 112, Mavericks 106

DALLAS — Kevin Martin scored 27 points and Kevin Love added 21 points and 11 rebounds Saturday as visiting Minnesota snapped a season-high three-game losing streak.

Nikola Pekovic collected 21 points and nine rebounds for the Timberwolves, who ended a five-game road skid. Corey Brewer scored 13 points and Ricky Rubio contributed 12 points and seven assists for Minnesota.

Monta Ellis broke out of a slump with 26 points and six assists for Dallas, which dropped to 0-2 against Minnesota this season. Dirk Nowitzki scored 23 on 10-of-13 shooting and Samuel Dalembert added 12 points for the Mavericks.

Ellis drained a 3-pointer to give Dallas a 66-64 lead with 6:31 left in the third and added to the cushion with a putback on the Mavericks’ next possession, but Barea’s 3-pointer capped a 7-2 spurt to end the quarter and put Minnesota ahead 84-77 heading to the final stanza.
