College volleyball: Warriors top St. Cloud Tech

ST. CLOUD — Jen Puncochar and Tegan Van Moer combined for 18 kills and Ridgewater blanked St. Cloud Tech 25-17, 25-16, 25-17 on Wednesday.

The Warriors next play at the Ridgewater Invitational on Friday in Willmar.

Alix Katz collected 8 ace serves and Amy Bolin had 6 serving aces and 4 kills.

Tiffani Karbo added 28 set assists and an ace block.

“Our serving was able to take them out the offense they wanted to establish,” Warriors’ head coach Joe Sussenguth said. “We were defensively stable in the back row, so we were able to dictate play at the net. We’ll need to be more productive with our offense this weekend, but I’m definitely pleased with this conference road win.”
