Kampsen is first team All-American

Ridgewater's Shane Kampsen has been named a first team All-American.

Kampsen won the national batting crown by 30 points, finishing with a .530 average. His 63 RBI were third in the nation. He was also second in the country in on-base percentage.

Ridgewater's Matt Christensen and Luke Frauendienst were both honorable mention All-American. Frauendienst was eighth in the nation with 28 stolen bases and 10th with a .473 batting average. Christensen was 5-1 on the mound with as 2.11 ERA and batted .421 with 38 RBI.
