College baseball: Bornhorst gains split for Warriors
AUSTIN — Brandon Bornhorst tossed a four-hitter as the Ridgewater Warriors beat Riverland 4-2 on Tuesday squaring accounts with the Blue Devils who won the first game in nine innings 4-3.
Both runs off the former Lac qui Parle Valley hurler were unearned.
The Warriors play Central Lakes of Brainerd at 2 p.m. today at Baker Field in the first game of a double header.
The winning run scored in the bottom of the ninth with two outs.
Trenton Berg took the loss despite a solid outing in which he allowed only two hits over 4Z\c innings. Starter Onas Farfan also threw well, though walks (six) were a problem.

Dan Blackstad homered in the third inning and Mike Nielsen drove in solo runs in both the first and the fourth.
