Bulldogs serve up victory

PRINSBURG — In the second set of Monday's match against Central Minnesota Christian, Paynesville's Jenna Lundquist set up shop at the baseline. She served 18 times on a 17-0 Bulldog run, tallying three aces in the set as Paynesville took the set 25-6 on the way to a 3-0 (25-15, 25-6, 25-9) match victory.

Lundquist ended the match with nine ace serves and 19 set assists for an all-around strong match. Skylar Bayer led the match with 12 kills, just ahead of Abby Schaefer's mark of 10. Schaefer and Bayer were clinical in their hitting, recording hitting percentages of .533 and .421, respectively.

Coco Duininck earned 13 set assists for the Bluejays and Elli Stoel led the team with four kills.
