Atwater family escapes serious injury in Sunday night crash

Allan Streich of Atwater is loaded into a Willmar ambulance by various rescue personnel Sunday night after being extricated from his crashed vehicle. He was traveling west in the 500 block of U.S. Highway 12 in east Willmar when his vehicle left the roadway, struck a power pole and rolled alongside the highway. He was in fair condition Monday at Rice Memorial Hospital in Willmar.
