Benson residents will have an opportunity to learn about three different proposals to reconfigure the downtown railroad crossings and increase safety during an open house Monday at the City Hall. In all three proposals, the two-gate system at the busy 14th Street intersection would be replaced with quad or four-way gates that would prevent traffic from slipping around them. (FILE | TRIBUNE)
