Jeffrey James Ackerman of Willmar charged in flag burning incidents
WILLMAR -- Two fifth-degree arson charges were filed Friday against Jeffrey James Ackerman, 40, of Willmar, for burning two U.S. flags belonging to downtown Willmar businesses. Ackerman used a cigarette lighter to start the flags on fire, Police Chief David Wyffels said Sunday.
