A fire Wednesday destroyed a machine shop and its contents at a farm on 80th Street Southeast near Maynard and Chippewa County roads 5 and 6. The fire was discovered sometime around 4 p.m. when Jay Schoep said his son looked out the window of their home and saw heavy smoke.
