The First District plant in Litchfield processes 6 million pounds of milk every day, and from that, 3.9 million pounds are processed into cheese. First Street has been closed from Kandiyohi Avenue to Willmar Avenue as emergency crews respond to a gas leak along the 1000 block of First Street. The street may be closed up to four hours.
