The city street pavement buckled Wednesday morning following another storm water flooding event early Wednesday morning at the intersection at Kandiyohi Ave. and 10th Street S.W. in Willmar. This morning's incident was the third storm water flooding event in this intersection and neighborhood this year.

The Minnesota River races under the suspension bridge in downtown Granite Falls. The fencing on the bridge was removed in case water levels exceed the deck. The Minnesota River was projected to crest in Granite Falls at 7 a.m. today at 893 feet, which would make it sixth- highest crest ever recorded. The waters are 6.3 feet below the 1997 record.
