Members of the Willmar City Council and city staff attended a retreat Saturday at Bremer Bank in Willmar. The goal was to prioritize projects the council wants to focus on in the next few years. In this exercise they were asked to place dots on the projects they supported the most.

Children and their families have already had opportunities to play on the new playground since Wednesday. The playground has been open on and off, as finishing touches are completed. The grand opening is at 1 p.m. June 24.

People come in and out of Rice Memorial Hospital on Tuesday in Willmar. While the city-owned hospital has partnerships with other health organizations for various services, city officials say there is no truth to rumors the hospital is for sale.
