 Johnnie Schmidt grew four types of milkweed in the Willmar Food Hub greenhouse on the MinnWest Technology Campus. He is now planting and offering it for sale in hopes of increasing the amount of milkweed avaiable for the monarch butterfly, which counts on the plant for survival.
