Prairie grasses grow tall at the Dalton Johnson Wildlife Management Area, which is three miles east of Lake Lillian, Wednesday. The WMA, which was established in 2005 and named for the founder of the Kandiyohi chapter of Pheasants Forever, was created to increase habitat for pheasants and other wildlife.
