At Rice Memorial Hospital in Willmar, patients who have Ebola-like symptoms — such as fever, headache, muscle aches, abdominal pain, vomiting and diarrhea — who have been in West Africa in the past 21 days or know someone who’s been in West Africa within the past three weeks will be asked to go straight to the emergency room garage.

The Chippewa River offers a scenic setting as it meanders along the Smith Addition and Lagoon Park in Montevideo. Its flood-swollen waters topped the banks and flooded more than 100 homes in the Smith Addition and threatened the city's water pumping station.
