Cindy Probst-DeKruif opened her jewelry shop in Sacred Heart nearly nine years ago, and remains as busy as she wants to be selling and repairing jewelry. There is still a future for retail in small towns, where the costs of entry and operation are lower, and people still value the trust they put in knowing the person handling their keepsakes. Multiple law enforcement personnel on ATVs and a helicopter were searching near the Minnesota River Wednesday afternoon near a gravel road off of Renville County Road 9, south of Sacred Heart. Law enforcement found the brown 1996 GMC Sierra pickup associated with Andrew Dikken Wednesday morning approximately five miles north of Belview, off of Redwood County Road 7. Dikken is a person of interest in the Kara Ann Monson homicide.
