students unfurled a 50-foot-long, black-colored tube of thin plastic and allowed outside air to fill it.  As the air in the tube warmed, it expanded and the thin plastic tube soon had lift.

Three area men spend Thanksgiving replacing a leaking water pipe under Fourth Street Southwest in Willmar. According to Dale Segler, Willmar Municipal Utilities' man on the scene, an 11-foot section of pipe was found to have seven holes. A southwest Willmar resident walks through water at the intersection of 10th Street and Kandiyohi Avenue S.W. about 8 a.m. Friday morning. A slow-moving thunderstorm rolled across Kandiyohi County dropping at least 2.5 inches of rainfall. A flash flood warning has been issued through the afternoon for parts of southwest Minnesota.
