Daryl Ingalsbe, pilot, talks in October about the views he had when he flew around the world. Ingalsbe remembers Russia being the most different place he visited. That experimental plane that crashed Tuesday in the front yard of a home in the Spruce Creek Fly-In community is reportedly owned and manufactured by Independent Technologies, which lists Daryl Ingalsbe as the owner and CEO.

This is an AstroTurf field at Lakewood (Colo.) Memorial Stadium in a company photo. AstroTurf is one of several artificial turf products being considered for the New London-Spicer School football field after the board voted Monday to approve installation of synthetic turf.

New LED lights are lit Monday evening in Spicer. There are 51 poles down state Highway 23 that now have the light emitting-diode lights that were installed as part of a citywide retrofit.

City of Willmar Public Works employees cut branches off a tree that fell around 10 a.m. Friday on the northeast corner of the intersection of Trott Avenue and Ninth Avenue Southwest. Thousands in the region are without power this morning. Winds have whipped power lines together causing outages, and downed tree branches also have caused outages.
