City of Willmar Public Works employees cut branches off a tree that fell around 10 a.m. Friday on the northeast corner of the intersection of Trott Avenue and Ninth Avenue Southwest. Thousands in the region are without power this morning. Winds have whipped power lines together causing outages, and downed tree branches also have caused outages.

There are two new hybrid ATMs at the Heritage Bank in Willmar. The ATMs take deposits, allow for more withdrawal choices and have live video interaction with bank staff. The new ATMs are also at the Heritage Banks in Pennock and Spicer, along with three branches in Iowa.
