Two people were transported to Rice Memorial Hospital in Willmar on Monday following an accident at 4:50 p.m. at the intersection of Willmar Avenue and Fifth Street Southwest. A compact car and SUV collided. The driver and passenger in the compact vehicle were taken to Rice. No further information was available at press time. Tribune photo by Carolyn Lange

Crews from Duininck Bros. Inc. of Prinsburg pave Fifth Street Southeast near the Willmar Avenue and 19th Avenue intersection in Willmar. The road will remain closed today.
