Tim and Jodi Dittes have made major upgrades to their Appleton store, Don's Food Pride. The upgrades include replacing nearly all of the refrigerated display cases, installing a new floor and LED lighting, and new display shelving.

Cole Tensen, his wife and two young children evacuated their upstairs bedroom shortly before a large tree crashed into their Belgrade home during a storm last week. National Weather Service meteorologists confirmed a total of six tornadoes overnight Sept. 19 and Sept. 20, five of them in west central Minnesota.
