upgrade

March 13, 2010
Workers have been busy through the winter on a $10.4-million project to upgrade the wastewater treatment plant in Montevideo. Rice Lake Construction from Deerwood is the prime contractor on the project to upgrade the facility along the Chippewa River. Much of the work is focused on adding equipment to increase the ability to remove phosphorus and to expand the sludge storage system. Tribune photo by Tom Cherveny
