A fire that was discovered around 3 a.m. destroyed the Food Garage in downtown Lake Lillian this morning. Firefighters from nine area departments battled the blaze. Firefighters remain on the scene.

The rubber blocks that absorb bullets fired in the indoor gun range at the Willmar City Auditorium are showing considerable wear and tear. They are now filled with lead and no longer able to do their job. The city has closed the range until it is deemed safe.
