Shelby Lindrud / TribunePreservation Alliance of Minnesota has taken over the Historic 313 project, deciding to remove the Willmar Food Hub and concentrat on the Foxhole Brewhouse and new resturants. Willmar Downtown Development continues to plan for the Hub, including looking for a new site.

Willmar City Administrator Ike Holland, shown in a file photo, says he is pleased with his progress and the city's during his first six months on the job. The Willmar City Council earlier this month reviewed his performance and scored Holland high in community relations, leadership and supervision, while saying he has shown high levels of honesty and integrity.

The Willmar City Council tabled a request Monday for a redevelopment tax increment finance district being considered for the 600 block of First Street South.  There is currently no plan for redevelopment on the east side of the district, but a retail/restaurant/office space is proposed for the west side, at far right.
