A house fire Friday morning on 14th Avenue Northeast in Willmar between Business Highway 71 and Lakeland Avenue caused “minor damage,” according to Willmar Fire Chief Frank Hanson. The fire was limited to the basement, near the water softener, Hanson said. The occupants of the single-story house, which included at least one child, escaped unharmed. (RAND MIDDLETON | TRIBUNE)
