Willmar Police Department Chief Jim Felt holds a mockup firearm Monday that is used in training. The department has requested the city purchase a use-of-force simulator. Reacting to video scenarios, officers would train in everything from de-escalation techniques to the use of deadly force with the mockup weapons that are part of the simulator system.
