Although she's a Green Bay Packers fan, Chasity Ommodt is also a fan of New London-Spicer graduate and new Vikings player Brandon Zylstra. Cars drive Wednesday past a sign announcing the start of Monday's detour on U.S. Highway 71 for a $6 million resurfacing and construction project from the junction of U.S. Highway 71 and state Highway 23 north of Willmar to just north of state Highway 9. There will be no through traffic on Highway 71 for the entire duration of the project.
