A barge from Oakes Lawn Service pushes a section of a large bog that was blocking the channel between Norway Lake and Games Lake in northern Kandiyohi County. In a process that took about about six hours Friday, the bog was broken into chunks and pushed away by volunteers in boats and pontoons. The bog is temporarily staked near state-owned land and will be excavated and removed later this summer.
