A broadband project to be undertaken by Consolidated Telecommunications Co. will cover the blue area, which is north central rural Kandiyohi County. The red New London area and green Spicer area are not part of the grant helping finance the project, but those areas may be considered if enough interest is expressed. Kandiyohi County is about to sell $5 million dollars of tax abatement bonds for a broadband infrastructure project to be undertaken by Consolidated Telecommunications Company. This map on the company website illustrates coverage areas. The blue area is Willmar, which is included in the project also financed by $4.9 million in grant funding. The red New London area and green Spicer area are not part of the grant, but may be considered if enough interest.
