The team, called Warpspeed 4239, is preparing for a scrimmage Saturday in Willmar. The scrimmage is hosted by the West Central Alliance Hub, a group of five area robotics teams including Willmar.

Among the remodeling projects yet to be completed within the Willmar School District are improvements at Roosevelt Elementary. The outdated media center will be redone, with new paint, carpeting and movable furniture. A wall in the middle of the school office will be taken out to provide more efficient space, and a wall will be removed between two classrooms to create a collaborative space, similar to collaborative learning areas at the new Lakeland Elementary building.

A new weight room is one of the many new additions constructed in Willmar High School. Members of the Willmar Public School Board toured finished areas of the recent additions to Willmar High School during their meeting Monday. Morton Construction Managers Architect Preston Euerle presented ground updates after the tour.
