A Minneapolis Star Tribune report ( http://bit.ly/XAidVK ) says a Stearns County judge has scheduled a Monday hearing to sort out issues between Thomas Decker's widow, ex-wife and two brothers. The public donated an undisclosed sum after Decker was killed in November.

Tubby Smith is in discussions with Texas Tech to become the next basketball coach for the Red Raiders. Two people with knowledge of the discussions told The Associated Press on Saturday night that Texas Tech has engaged Smith in negotiations to become the head coach. The people requested anonymity because the talks are ongoing. Billy Gillispie resigned in September after one season at Tech.
