ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) — The Minnesota Pollution Control Agency is holding a series of public meetings this month to present its draft list of "'impaired waters" for 2014. It's a list of waters that violate water quality standards. The MPCA submits the list to the Environmental Protection Agency every even-numbered year. The MPCA says most of the changes from 2012 are based on water quality assessments conducted in several major watersheds across the state. The first meeting is Tuesday at 9 a.m. at MPCA headquarters in St. Paul.
By Barry Wilner, AP Pro Football Writer Oh, the weather outside is frightful. “So what?” say LeSean McCoy, Cordarrelle Patterson and even the Miami Dolphins. Let it snow, let snow, let it snow. Sunday’s action in precipitation that took pretty much a straight line from Washington to Baltimore to Philadelphia — with a side trip to Pittsburgh — brought some spectacular performances. While fans shivered and shuddered and perhaps even stayed away from the stadium, McCoy was as comfortable as an Eskimo in the blizzard-like conditions at the Linc.

Coach Leslie Frazier said Friday that Ponder had yet to pass all of his post-concussion tests. So Ponder will not suit up against the Ravens, with Matt Cassel starting and Josh Freeman backing him up. This is Ponder's third significant injury of the season. He had a broken rib that paved the way for Cassel to start against Pittsburgh on Sept. 29 and dislocated his shoulder at the end of the third quarter against Washington on Nov.
