SEVEN LAKES, N.C. -- Dr. Jon Roy Standahl, 65, died suddenly on Sept. 5 at home. Services were held Sept. 8 at West End Presbyterian Church in West End, N.C. Box 13, West End, NC 27376. He was born May 8, 1943, in Oscaloosa, Iowa, to Roy and Genevieve Standahl. He grew up in Reidsville, N.C.
VILLARD -- Ila Mae Perdue, 63, of rural Villard died Sunday at her daughter's home in Alexandria. The service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Lake Community Church in Alexandria. Burial will be at 10 a.m. Monday in Lowman Cemetery in Runnells, Iowa. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Hoplin-Hitchcock Funeral Home in Glenwood and continue for one hour prior to the service. She was born Oct. 1, 1944, in Beardsley Kan., to Luduish and Gertrude (Larson) Wederski.
PAYNESVILLE -- Rosella Cornelia Anderson, 78, of Paynesville, formerly of Brooten, died Saturday at the Paynesville Area Hospital. The service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Trinity Lutheran Church in Brooten. Inurnment will be in South Lake Johanna Lutheran Cemetery in rural Brooten. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today at the Hoplin-Hitchcock Funeral Home in Brooten and for one hour prior to the service at the church. She was born Jan. 18, 1930, in Brooten, to George and Florence Huseth. She grew up on a farm near Brooten and attended District No. 4 Pope County School.
RAYMOND -- Rodney B. Sherman, 65, of Raymond, died Sunday at Rice Memorial Hospital in Willmar. The service will be from 2 to 5 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 20, at his home in rural Raymond. He was born Jan. 25, 1943 in St.
GLENWOOD -- Thomas Scott "Tommy" Cretilli, 50, died Thursday at Glacial Ridge Hospital in Glenwood. Services will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday at Glenwood Lutheran Church. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Glenwood. Visitation will be from 1 to 3 p.m. at the church on the day of service. Arrangements are with Hoplin-Hitchcock Funeral Home in Glenwood. He was born May 18, 1958 to Stephen and Bernice (Aaberg) Cretilli in Minneapolis. He grew up in Minneapolis where he graduated from Patrick Henry High School. He married Judy Bursch. They lived in Minneapolis.
APPLETON --Leone Grace Johnson, 92, of Appleton, died Friday at the Appleton Nursing Home. Services will be at 11 a.m. today at Zion Lutheran Church in Appleton. Burial will be at the Appleton City Cemetery. Visitation will be for one hour prior to the services at the church. Arrangements are with Zniewski Funeral Home-Vaala Chapel in Appleton. She was born on Feb. 12, 1916, in rural Watson to Arthur and Inga (Canton) Norby. She attended rural school in Watson through the eighth grade. She married Carl I. Johnson on Feb. 20, 1942.
MORRIS -- Louise Mae Eystad, 80, of Morris, died Friday at her home after a 20-year battle with cancer. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Assumption Catholic Church in Morris. Burial will be at Summit Cemetery in Morris. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today, with a Christian Mother's Rosary at 4:15 p.m. and a prayer services at 4:30 p.m., at the Pedersen Funeral Home in Morris, and will continue for one hour prior to services at the church. She was born on April 27, 1928 in rural Chokio to Thomas and Anna (Waldvogel) Leuthard.
LITCHFIELD -- Mary Hazel Wilson, 83, of Litchfield, died Saturday at the Emmanuel Nursing Home in Litchfield. Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Litchfield Christian Church in Litchfield. Arrangements are by the Johnson-Hagglund Funeral Home in Litchfield. She was born Dec. 15, 1924, to Neil and Edna (Randall) Rogers in McCook , Neb. She received her education at Oberlin, Kansas, and graduated in 1942. She earned a bachelor's degree from Kansas State University in 1946. She taught high school at McPherson, Kan. for three years.
BENSON -- Hazel Clarice Fahl, 81, of Benson, died Friday at Swift County Benson Hospital. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Trinity Lutheran Church, Benson. Burial will be in the Benson City Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Trinity Lutheran Church and will continue for one hour prior to the service at the church. Arrangements are with Zniewski Funeral Home, Benson. She was born on Jan. 6, 1927, in Hancock to Edward and Corella (Olson) Hanson. She grew up in Hancock and Evansville, where she attended pre-school and grade school.
DAWSON -- Angelie "Angie" Strom, 88, of Dawson, died Thursday at Luther Haven Nursing Home in Montevideo. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Grace Lutheran Church in Dawson. Burial will be in the Grace Lutheran Cemetery in Dawson. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today, with a closing prayer service at 7 p.m., at the Hanson and Dahl Funeral Home in Dawson. She was born Aug. 27, 1920, in Maxwell Township, rural Dawson, to Enock and Agnes (Mattson) Miller.
