WILLMAR --Ruby Maxine Reishus, 84, of Willmar, died Tuesday at Rice Care Center in Willmar. Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at First Lutheran Church of Norway Lake in rural New London. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be 5 to 7 p.m. today at the Harvey Anderson Funeral Home in Willmar and for one hour prior to the services at the church. She was born Sept. 27, 1923, in Hanley Falls to Edwin and Christine (Midboe) Olson. She graduated from high school in Hanley Falls in 1941. She married Harvey Reishus on July 10, 1941.
PRINSBURG -- Jennie Zylstra, 90, of Prinsburg, died Wednesday at Rice Memorial Hospital in Willmar. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at First Christian Reformed Church in Prinsburg. Burial will be in the Holland Township Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Tri-County Funeral Home in Prinsburg and one hour prior to the service at the church. She was born June 11, 1918, in Edwards Township, Kandiyohi County, to William and Maggie (Stob) Strootman.
RICHMOND -- Agnes C. Rausch, 88, of Richmond, died Tuesday at the Koronis Manor in Paynesville. Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Richmond. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be after 4 p.m. today and from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Friday at the Wenner Funeral Home in Richmond. Parish prayers will be at 4 p.m.
ASTORIA, Ore. -- Roger Allen Berg, 85, of Astoria, Ore., died Aug. 21. Services were Aug. 29 in Astoria. He was born May 13, 1923, in Willmar to Roy Arthur and Alvina Pearl (Knott) Berg. He grew up in Willmar and graduated from Willmar High School. He enlisted in the U.S. Navy in 1941 and served aboard the USS Morris, where he was one of the survivors of a kamikaze attack in Okinawa, Japan. Following his discharge, he attended the University of Minnesota and graduated with a degree in engineering. He married Lorraine Thompson on April 4, 1953, in Sedro-Wooley, Wash.

GLENWOOD -- Lynn Kay Thomsen, 69, of Glenwood, died unexpectedly Saturday at her home. The service will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Glenwood Lutheran Church. Inurnment will be in the Glenwood Cemetery. Arrangements are by Hoplin-Hitchcock Funeral Home in Glenwood. She was born July 18, 1939, in Wheaton to Dale and Thelma (Cumming) Strong.

AUSTIN -- Todd Aaron Velde, 31 of Austin, Texas, died Friday in Austin. The service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Yellow Medicine Lutheran Church in Hanley Falls. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the church. Arrangements are by Wing-Bain Funeral Home in Granite Falls. He was born April 10, 1977, in Granite Falls to Gary and Marcia Velde. He graduated from Yellow Medicine East in 1995.
VILLARD -- Donald Kenneth Sokolofsky, 77, of Villard, died Saturday at the Glacial Ridge Hospital in Glenwood. The service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. John's Lutheran Church in Villard. Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. today at Hoplin-Hitchcock Funeral home in Glenwood and one hour prior to the service at the church. He was born July 29, 1931, in Carson, N.D., to David and Marie (Heintz) Sokolofsky. He attended country school in Carson. On Oct. 1, 1953, he entered the U.S. Army and served during the Korean War.
CLARA CITY -- Pearl Elizabeth Beasley, 89, of Clara City and formerly of Maynard, died Sunday at Rice Memorial Hospital in Willmar. The service will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Maynard Lutheran Church. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be this afternoon and evening, with the family present from 5 to 7 p.m. and with a prayer service at 7 p.m., at Anderson Funeral Home in Montevideo. She was born Sept. 11, 1918, in Garvin to Harry and Martha (Hassert) Strunk.
