Welcome to the Whiteout Day during Minnesota Newspaper Week. Our front page today is void of our normal news content - No news stories or photos. This empty news front page is not something to be taken lightly. It simply asks today what would your community be without the local news provided by your daily or weekly newspaper? Just imagine for a minute that your local newspaper was not serving in its reporting and watchdog role. Ask yourself these questions.
A wild fox took to the plowed roadway of 16th Avenue Northeast in Willmar Saturday afternoon to travel. The fox apparently found the going along the street a little easier after the first snowfall of the year from Friday's blizzard. Shared your blizzard video by emailing it to: firstname.lastname@example.org .
The West Central Tribune's Channels section distributed Friday included some daily grids that were not correct. These outdated daily grids were inadvertently placed on some pages. We apologize for this incorrect content. To provide the correct content as quickly as possible for our readers, here is what we are doing. • The correct Saturday and Sunday grids for this week are attached to this online story. • The correct Saturday and Sunday grids will be printed on pages B9 and B10 in Saturday's Weekend Edition.
