Brook Schweiss and Corey Mead are engaged to be married Aug. 12 at Diamond Lake. Schweiss is the daughter of Mike and Julie Schweiss of Fairfax. She is a 1999 graduate of GFW High School and a 2001 graduate of the aviation program at Anoka-Hennepin College. She is employed as a sales and marketing representative at Schweiss Bi-Fold Doors in Fairfax. Mead is the son of Douglas Mead of New London and Carol and Terry Schaefer of Paynesville. He is a graduate of New London-Spicer High School and a 2002 graduate of the electrical program at Ridgewater College in Willmar.
Robin Ast and Keith Beito are engaged to be married Jan. 14 at Saron Lutheran Church in rural Maynard. Ast is the daughter of Merlyn and Jackie Ast of Maynard. She is employed as a registered nurse at the Clara City Care Center. Beito is the son of Wilma Beito of Sleepy Eye and the late M.E. Beito. He is self-employed as a farmer in rural Granite Falls.
Susie Roeske and Travis Bierwerth were united in marriage Nov. 16 in Honolulu, Hawaii. The bride is the daughter of Joel and Lita Roeske of Atwater. The groom is the son of Norman and Roxanne Bierwerth of Atwater. Following the wedding, the couple is living in Crookston. The groom is employed by Midwest Locomotive Services in Crookston. The bride is employed by American Federal Bank in Crookston.
