WILLMAR — A truck crashed broadside into a semi Tuesday on U.S. Highway 12 in Willmar, sending a 40-year-old Atwater man to Rice Memorial Hospital. According to the State Patrol, around 11:20 a.m., the semi exited onto Highway 12 from North U.S. Highway 71. It stopped at the stop sign, but pulled onto Highway 12 in front of a 2004 Chevy Silverado, which had been traveling west on Highway 12. The Chevy crashed into the semi, a 1996 Peterbilt Conventional.

WILLMAR — Sam Schliep has been promoted to live production procurement clerk for the Jennie-O Turkey Store Corporate Office. She will be responsible for pre-market verification, documentation and reporting. Schliep has worked for Jennie-O since 2015, when she was hired as the post load coordinator in the transportation department.
WILLMAR — Hallie Johnson is the new referral and business development coordinator for ACMC Health in Willmar. She will build relationships in communities, identify and nurture business opportunities and keep up to date with current healthcare market trends and conditions. Johnson has a bachelor's degree from the College of Saint Benedict and completed her master of healthcare administration from the University of Minnesota Twin Cities School of Public Health. She has prior experience as a healthcare strategy consultant and a physicians operations lead.
WILLMAR — Kyle Parker has joined the team at Century 21 Kandi Realty in Willmar. She will be available for real estate needs in Kandiyohi County and surrounding area. A former resident of New London and now of Kandiyohi, Parker is a real estate graduate of Kaplan University and is a member of the West Central Board of Realtors. Parker has experience with commercial cleaning, retail management, sales, foster care and adoption.
NEW LONDON — Sue Davenport has been promoted to head teller at Lake Region Bank in New London. She will assist the teller manager with supervision and training of tellers at three bank locations. Davenport has worked on the teller line for Lake Region Bank for 12 years. She also worked 14 years for Hennepin County in economic assistance. She is a graduate of Willmar High School and Willmar Vo-Tech.
WILLMAR — Christianson PLLP welcomes Melissa Knott as director of marketing and practice growth. A graduate of St. Cloud State University, Knott has a degree in marketing. She has experience in marketing, marketing analytics, customer relationship management, software sales, training and support.
ST. PAUL — The Minnesota Pollution Control Agency completed 43 enforcement cases in the fourth quarter of 2016, bringing the year total to 146. Those cases also totaled $1,173,948 in penalties, with the 43 cases from the last three months of year bringing $260,000 in penalties. The MPCA has 52 enforcement investigations still ongoing, with 17 opened in the fourth quarter. WILLMAR — Advocacy & Inclusion Matter welcomes new board member Travis Aufderheide. Aufderheide is the site director at Green Lake Lutheran Ministries in Spicer, along with heading Camp Joy, a Christian summer camp for adults with developmental disabilities. AIM serves people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and promotes their full inclusion in the community.
