She has event planning, graphic design, photography, writing and website management skills. She previously worked with Willmar Medical Services in a marketing role she established and executed. Olson is a graduate of Capella University with a bachelor's in business. She lives in Danvers with her husband and two children.
WILLMAR — Christianson PLLP has welcomed new financial consultant John Patock. He will assist clients in account management, retail brokerage, mutual funds, annuities, retirement planning, education funding plans, life insurance and long-term care protection. Patock is a graduate of Minnesota State University in Mankato with a bachelor's in electrical engineering technology and computer science. He is certified as a chartered financial consultant and holds the certified long-term care designation.
WILLMAR — Trevor Conway has joined the team at RELCO as a project engineer. A graduate of the University of Wisconsin - Platteville, Conway has a bachelor's in mechanical engineering. Conway worked for John Deere in Waterloo, Iowa, as a subsystem test engineer for five years, working on large-frame tractors. He designed test stands and ran tests on current and future products. He has years of experience in running shake, vibration, environmental, durability, stress and fatigue tests on tractors and their parts. He lives in Willmar with his fiancee.
WILLMAR — Bethesda has promoted Caroline Chan to the position of director of senior housing and community development. In her new position Chan will oversee Bethesda's senior housing division, along with engaging in community development and relationship building. Chan is a graduate of Winona State University with a bachelor's in mass communication/public relations and marketing. She is currently working on her master's in health and human administration and is completing her nursing home administrator's license through St. Mary's University.

Kandiyohi County man seriously injured by falling tree WILLMAR — A 29-year-old man was seriously injured Saturday afternoon in a tree-cutting accident in Arctander Township. The Kandiyohi County Sheriff's Office said the man was apparently cutting down the tree when it fell and struck him. The accident was reported shortly after 3 p.m. in the 6000 block of 150th Avenue Northwest.
WILLMAR — A 29-year-old man was seriously injured Saturday afternoon in a tree-cutting accident in Arctander Township. The Kandiyohi County Sheriff's Office said the man was cutting down the tree when it fell and struck him. The accident was reported shortly after 3 p.m. in the 6000 block of 150th Avenue Northwest. Ambulance and first responder personnel treated the victim at the scene. He was eventually airlifted by Life Link Air Ambulance with serious injuries, the Sheriff's Office said. The man was not identified.

The damage was reported Friday to Willmar police. The trailer had been parked overnight outside Calvary Lutheran Church. Burglary DASSEL — The Meeker County Sheriff's Office recovered two stolen vehicles around 11:21 p.m. March 29 near the intersection of 7th Street and Pacific Avenue in Dassel. While investigation the vehicle thefts, two additional burglaries were discovered. Items which were stolen from a rural Dassel church and a local business in Dassel were recovered and returned to their owners. An individual was arrested for burglary and theft.
