Farm Dreams is designed to help people clarify what motivates them to farm, get their vision on paper, inventory their strengths and training needs, and get perspective from an experienced farmer. This is an excellent workshop for determining if the Farm Beginnings course is a good option for pursuing a future in agriculture.

The State Patrol says Cheryl E. Kieso, of Watertown, South Dakota, was transported to RC Hospital in Olivia with non-life-threatening injuries. Just after 8 p.m. Tuesday, Kieso had been driving east on Highway 212 in a 2014 Freightliner semi. It was sideswiped by another semi that was westbound.

WILLMAR—1 Million Cups, a national group which educates, engages and connects entrepreneurs, will kick off in Willmar starting Oct. 5 at the Barn Theatre in downtown Willmar. The program will provide entrepreneurs a place to network with other entrepreneurs and creative thinkers along with receiving and providing constructive criticism and support. Every Wednesday, from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. at the Barn, over cups of coffee provided by the Goodness Coffeehouse, entrepreneurs will be able to network and hear and give presentations on their ideas.
WILLMAR—Morgan Sexton has been promoted to turkey health coordinator for the live production technical services team at Jennie-O Turkey Store. She has been working at Jennie-O for the past year, starting as a research specialist in research and development. Sexton has a bachelor's degree in biology from Iowa State University.
ATWATER—On Track Fitness, owned by Atwater-Cosmos-Grove City graduate Brett Busskohl, has opened in Atwater in the building that once housed Vern's T & C Store. The fitness center will provide 24/7 access, with a use of membership card, to fitness equipment ranging from free weights to cardio. Busskohl will also be available to teach people how to use the equipment and help create a fitness plan for those who want it. The center will accommodate all lifestyles and has training programs to fit those needs. Insurance plans are also accepted.
