This is the records summary for Jan. 3 Crashes REDWOOD FALLS – Minor injuries were reported in a one-vehicle rollover late on New Year’s Day on a rural road north of Redwood Falls. The Renville County Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call at 10:48 p.m. Sunday, reporting a one-vehicle accident near the intersection of County Road 1 and County Road 15 in Beaver Falls Township.
LITCHFIELD -- Two people escaped from a house fire in rural Meeker County early this morning. According to the Meeker County Sheriff's Office Kevin Gloege, 59, from rural Ortonville, and Lori Jagodzinski, 56, from Crystal, were able to get out of the house without being injured in the fire, which was reported at 3:12 a.m.
GRANITE FALLS -- Two people were injured in a one-vehicle rollover accident Monday afternoon on icy roads near Granite Falls. According to the State Patrol, Caitlin R. Leonard, 23, of Tracy, was driving a 1996 Oldsmobile Ciera west on U.S. Highway 212 when she lost control of the vehicle around a curve, slid into the ditch, hit a sign and rolled. Leonard and a passenger, Stephan L. Streich, 21, of Montevideo, were taken to the Granite Falls Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, according to the State Patrol.

Osborn Solsrud, Debra "Deb" Deb tragically passed away on December 27, 2016 in a small plane crash in Florida at the age of 51. Deb wishes to be best known for her humor, love of adventure and compassion. Deb was born on August 4, 1965 to Guy and Louise (nee Sterling) Osborn in Minneapolis, MN.

Crash REDWOOD FALLS — A semi truck collided with a Volkswagen Beetle at 12:38 a.m. Thursday at the intersection of state Highway 19 and U.S. Highway 71 in Renville County. According to the State Patrol, the driver of the Beetle, Salomon Paredes, 35, of Minneapolis, and his passenger, Ramiro Cantoran-Quiroz, 28, of Woodbury, suffered non-life-threatening injuries. The driver of the semi, Andrew Spanjer, 38, of Lake View, Iowa, had no apparent injuries from the crash.

LITCHFIELD — Ashley Kieke has accepted a tax accountant position with United FCS and will be based in the Litchfield office. As a tax accountant Kieke will provide accounting services including tax planning, tax preparation, farm records and consulting. A graduate of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Kieke has a bachelor's degree in accounting. She is also a certified public accountant and worked for an accounting firm in the Twin Cities.
