Burglary NEW LONDON — Just after 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, a FedEx driver reported a possible burglary at a home on the 6000 block of 192nd Avenue Northeast in New London. The driver told the Kandiyohi County Sheriff's Office he had left a door tag for a package at the residence on Tuesday. Possession and underage drinking WILLMAR — A student at Willmar High School was transported to Rice Memorial Hospital after a preliminary breath test showed the individual had a blood alcohol level of .12. Law enforcement were called to the high school around 10:30 a.m. Tuesday. A second report said a student blew a .07 on the preliminary breath test and was in possession of tobacco and marijuana.

SPICER – A 20-year-old New London man escaped injury Monday night after the pickup he was driving went through the ice on Green Lake. According to the Kandiyohi County Sheriff’s Office, Alec DeSchepper, was driving a 2000 Chevrolet Silverado near the inlet on the northwest corner of Green Lake when he went over an ice heave and broke through the ice. DeSchepper, who was alone in the truck, was able to escape before the vehicle became submerged.
