NEW LONDON—Over the past two weeks, the Kandiyohi County Sheriff's Office received at least two reports of a "Peeping Tom" looking through the windows of a Redwood Street apartment building. On Sunday night, deputies responded to a third report, apprehending and arresting a 26-year-old man they believe was behind all three "peeping" incidents. They had arrived to the 300 block of Redwood St. to find the man actively looking into windows of the building, according to a news release from the Sheriff's Office.

ATWATER — Four people were arrested Thursday morning after a narcotic search warrant was served at a residence southwest of Atwater. The Kandiyohi County Sheriff's Office SWAT Team, the CEE-VI Drug and Gang Task Force agents and the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension executed the warrant in the 17000 block of First Avenue East, according to a Kandiyohi County Sheriff's Office news release.
LITCHFIELD — Two people were injured Friday morning when two vehicles collided at the intersection of Highway 24 and Meeker County Road 34. The broadside crash was reported at 8:44 a.m. According to a report from the Minnesota State Patrol, Thomas F. Schanil, 71, of Hector, and Cecilia M. Graham, 79, of Watkins, were transported to Meeker Memorial Hospital in Litchfield with non-life threatening injuries.

WILLMAR — The detour of state Highway 4 through the city of Hector ends Thursday. Detour signs will be removed and the road will be opened to traffic. The city of Hector began a project Aug. 18 which detoured motorists between the junction of Highway 4 and Douglass Avenue to the junction of Highway 4 and Birch Avenue. The project included storm sewer and sanitary sewer work, a water main replacement and the construction of sidewalk and pedestrian ramps to meet standards of the Americans with Disabilities Act.
MONTEVIDEO—A Dawson teenager and a Montevideo man were injured Tuesday night following a broadside crash on State Highway 7 in Montevideo. The State Patrol identified the man as 55-year-old Jayme S. Lynne. The Patrol detected alcohol in Lynne, and said it was a factor in the crash. The names of the teen driver and his teen passenger have been withheld, pending the completion of the crash investigation and potential charges. At 8 p.m. Tuesday, the teen was driving a GMC Jimmy SUV west on Highway 7.
