WILLMAR — Abdirisack Ali has been promoted by Jennie-O Turkey Store. He is now a supervisor on the second shift at the Willmar Avenue Plant. Most recently Ali was a supervisor trainee. In his new position Ali will be supervising a large crew and making sure they maintain safety.
WILLMAR — Becky Knake has been promoted to the position of imaging informatics manager at Willmar Imaging Services, a joint venture between ACMC and Rice Memorial Hospital. In her new role, Knake will assist with daily management of staff and department operations, training and development. Knake has worked at Willmar Imaging Services for nine years, in an imaging support role. She has just completed her bachelor's in information technology degree with a focus on management.
LITCHFIELD — Dr. Patricia I. Freund is now seeing patients at the Meeker Memorial Clinic in Dassel. Freund brings a strong clinical background and team approach to area residents, having served for the past seven years as a full-time family practice physician at the Affiliated Community Medical Centers Litchfield East Clinic and as an active medical staff physician for Meeker Memorial Hospital caring for patients admitted to the hospital.
WILLMAR — Mauricio Aguilar has accepted a position as a production supervisor trainee with Jennie-O Turkey Store. Aguilar has a bachelor's degree in manufacturing engineering and a master's with a focus on project management. Before coming to Willmar, Mauricio worked in the garment industry in Honduras, supervising apparel assembly and production. He worked in project management for KM2 Solutions. He has experience in industrial engineering and project management.
BENSON — Jenny Harvell has been promoted to assistant area supervisor for the Jennie-O Turkey Store Benson Area Grow Out. Harvell has previously worked at the Henning brood farm and the Toddco brood farm as the farm manager. Harvell's team at Toddco had great results in growing salmonella-free poults.
WILLMAR — Andrea Carruthers, a member of Rice Memorial Hospital's Board of Trustees, was recently recognized by the Minnesota Hospital Association for completing its trustee certification program.

Tim Miller, R-Prinsburg, will discuss legislation he's introduced that would allow the city of Fairfax to lease and operate the golf course.

Man airlifted from scene of Saturday afternoon crash PRINSBURG — A Sacred Heart man was airlifted from the scene of a crash Saturday afternoon in southern Kandiyohi County. David Benson, 32, of Sacred Heart, was driving a Ford pickup north on County Road 1 at 210th Avenue Southwest, about a mile south of Prinsburg. He lost control on the ice-covered road when he attempted to pass another vehicle, according to a report from the Kandiyohi County Sheriff's Office.
