No injuries were reported in the incident, which happened shortly before 12:30 p.m.

This is the records summary for June 14. Hit and run crash WILLMAR — An 18-year-old Willmar man suffered minor injuries Monday when his bicycle was hit by a silver or gray SUV which left the scene. The crash was reported at 3:10 p.m. Monday at the intersection of Second Street and Kandiyohi Avenue Southwest, near Rice Park. Jesus Flores, 18, of Willmar, was thrown to the ground and injured when the vehicle struck his bicycle as he crossed Kandiyohi Avenue. The SUV was traveling west on Kandiyohi Avenue.
WILLMAR — Farmers who had crops damaged by wind and hail over the weekend can get free advice on replanting, crop recovery and crop insurance during a meeting Thursday afternoon in Pennock. The University of Minnesota Extension and the USDA Farm Service Agency of Kandiyohi County will host the informational meeting at 1:30 p.m. at the Pennock Community Center, 305 Dakota Ave. N.W., in Pennock. Dr. Seth Naeve, an extension soybean specialist, will discuss research data about soybean recovery and the planting of soybeans in June following hail.

Both incidents apparently happened during the overnight hours. Several items, including two folding knives, were taken from a vehicle parked in the 2000 block of Fourth Avenue Southeast.

Two injured in crash WILLMAR — Two people were injured Saturday afternoon west of Willmar when their vehicle was struck by a semi that went through a stop sign. According to the State Patrol, Levi Bennett Peterson, 21, of Ringsted, Iowa, was driving a 2016 Peterbilt semi south on Kandiyohi County Road 7 when it went through the stop sign. The semi broadsided a 1997 Plymouth Voyager, driven by Humberto Castillo Cortez, 57, of Montevideo, that was going east on state Highway 40.

One hurt in Paynesville crash PAYNESVILLE — A 58 year-old Sartell man suffered what were described as non-life-threatening injuries in a one-vehicle accident at 10:42 a.m. Friday in Paynesville. According to the Minnesota State Patrol, Donald Norbert Erkens was driving a 2012 Victory Road motorcycle on the East Business Highway 23 ramp to state Highway 23 in Paynesville at the time of the crash. He was transported to the Paynesville Hospital.
