He has worked for the company for more than 13 years, holding all three buyer positions. In his new position, Kath will have more management responsibility along with strategic planning involvement.

A graduate of the University of Minnesota Crookston, Lelonek studied business management, communications and social services. She has years of experience in administrative positions in various industries and nonprofits, most recently with the Salvation Army.

Hanson-Knight earned her real estate license in 2004, her broker's license in 2007 and has a bachelor's degree in applied psychology from St. Cloud State University. She has 13 years of experience in residential real estate, and also uses her counseling skills and local knowledge when assisting clients. Hanson-Knight lives in Willmar with her husband and four children.
WILLMAR — Ashley Barajas has been promoted to the position of general office clerk at Jennie-O Turkey Store. She will be working in the general mail room, along with providing backup coverage for the reception area and company store. Barajas previously worked for Jennie-O as the production lead for panline, tied roast and tempering in the Willmar Avenue Plant.

WILLMAR — Paul Nelson has been promoted by Jennie-O Turkey Store to the position of supervisor of packaging-third shift at the Benson Avenue Plant in Willmar. A Jennie-O employee since 2012, Nelson previously worked in the Willmar Avenue Plant as the lead and relief supervisor in shipping.

Crash into building WILLMAR — A teen driver from Willmar reportedly crashed into the New 2 You Thrift Store on the 1400 block of First Street South in Willmar. The crash happened around 5:50 p.m. Sunday. According to police reports, the teen hit the store front, breaking windows and siding. He was not hurt. The building owner responded to the scene and secured a window with plywood. Warrant arrest
WILLMAR - Due to the Willmar High school Girls basketball team making the state tournament, the choir and band concerts scheduled for Tuesday, March 14, have been moved to Thursday, March 23. The choir concert will be at 6 p.m. and the band concert at 7:30 p.m., both at Willmar Senior High School. The Prairie Winds Community Band will still be performing at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 14, at WEAC. All of these concerts are free.
ST. JOSEPH — A semi driver was injured after his vehicle skidded on icy, went through a bridge guardrail and rolled into the Sauk River. According to the State Patrol, the accident happened around 9:30 p.m. Sunday on I-94 in St. Joseph Township when a 2014 Freightliner, driven by Charles Edward Matthewson, 32, of Las Vegas, Nevada, was traveling east when it hit a patch of ice, lost control and went through the bridge guard rail. The vehicle continued down the embankment, rolling the semi and the empty tanker trailer on its driver side into the Sauk River.
