WILLMAR — Ryan Woodhall has accepted a promotion to associate brand manager for the food service business unit at Jennie-O Turkey Store. As manager, Woodhall will manage product lines and launches with multiple units across Jennie-O and other partners. Woodhall has worked for Jennie-O for three years, holding the position of operations supervisor for the Willmar Avenue Plant and export sales representative at the corporate office. Woodhall is a graduate of St. Cloud State University.
Crash WILLMAR — Several vehicles were involved in a crash at 12:39 p.m. Saturday at U.S. Highway 12 and 7th Street Southwest in Willmar.
ST. PAUL — The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, St. Paul District, is urging caution for those going on the ice of Lac qui Parle Lake or the Minnesota River. The Corps continues to alter flows as it complete repairs to the Lac qui Parle Dam, located on the Minnesota River in west central Minnesota near Watson.

GLENWOOD – Glenwood was one of four Greater Minnesota communities selected to share in a $2.87 million grant to fund construction of rental workforce housing. The grants, which were issued by the Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development, are designed to support housing projects in communities where businesses are struggling to recruit and retain workers because of local housing shortages.

Arrest after stolen property report WILLMAR — At 4:13 p.m. Monday, after a stolen property report on the 4700 block of U.S. Highway 71 Northeast in Willmar, the Kandiyohi County Sheriff's Office arrested a 21-year-old man. WILLMAR — There were 66 building permits issued in Willmar during the month of November, bringing the year-to-date total to 788. The projects were valued at $8,963,150, with the city collecting $72,196 in permit fees. Since January, there have been $72,139,773 worth of projects permitted, with city fees totaling $612,225. In November there were 18 gas furnace or boiler replacement permits issued, four water furnace replacements and one new house. Significant commercial permits include the following:

WILLMAR — Miguel Esparza Gonzalez has been promoted to the position of computing technical specialist at Jennie-O Turkey Store in Willmar. In his new position he will be working on the company's computers, printers and communications issues. Previously, Esparza worked for human resources at the Benson Avenue Plant. He earned his technical certificate in computer support technology from Ridgewater College.
