The Kandiyohi County Sheriff's Office sent an alert warning residents of the outage just after 12:40 p.m. Monday. It was advising those in need of emergency services to call 320-235-1260. In a 1 p.m. message to media, the Meeker County Sheriff's Office said that 911 services there had also been out-of-order since 12:30 p.m.
This is the record summary for Nov. 28. Arrests WILLMAR — A 23-year-old man was arrested shortly after 1 a.m. Saturday after a traffic stop at Benson Avenue Southwest and 10th Street. He was arrested on suspicion of second-degree driving while under the influence, testing at .08 blood alcohol or higher within two hours of driving, open bottle, possession of 1.4 grams of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Trailer detaches from truck, injuring two near Darwin DARWIN TOWNSHIP — A trailer detached from the hitch of a moving truck in Darwin Township while it traveled west on 250th Street, smashing into a van and causing a chain-reaction crash that injured the van's two passengers. The crash happened at 3:40 p.m. Monday near 643rd Avenue. According to the Meeker County Sheriff's Office, 74-year-old Luaine Weseman, of rural Litchfield, had been driving a 2016 Chevy Silverado with a trailer attached.
